The number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void matters only at the time the spell is cast. Changing the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void after a spell has been cast won't change whether the ability triggers or counters the spell.

If there are zero charge counters on Chalice of the Void, it counters each spell with a mana value of 0. This includes face-down creature spells cast with morph's alternative cost.

Chalice of the Void has to be on the battlefield at the end of casting a spell for the ability to trigger. If you sacrifice Chalice of the Void as a cost to cast a spell, its ability can't trigger. However, if it leaves the battlefield once its ability has triggered, that ability will still counter the spell.

antagligen runt 4 eftersom de flesta kontringar och elaka kort ligger på 2mana kost

4 mana är ju också resonabelt, sen börjar det bli jävligt dyrt och för liten inverkan.

Okej.. 0 i extended sätter väl enbart stopp för chrome mox. Jag skulel väl betala 4 för att sätta stop för contringar antar jag... det finns kanske fler anledningar tat betala 4 än att betala 2 skulel jag tippa på i extended??

Poängen är att man spelar CotV för att det finns något man vill lägga den på, man bestämmer sig inte för att spela CotV och sen börjar fundera på vad man ska lägga den på.

Det finns väl olika kort i olika matchups man vill lägga den på? Jag bestämde mig hur som helst innan att jag ville spela den för att bli av med wild mongrel i aggro.

Jag tycker du har fel kelvandil - man kan mycket väl fylla slots med denial så som CotV eller Meddling Mage och sedan göra val beroende på matchup.
