Jag fick svar när jag ställde frågan till cardmarket, se nedan
The Universal Postal Union (UPU), which coordinates global postal regulations, has decided that starting January 1, 2026, international tracked letters containing goods will no longer be allowed. This applies to all European postal services and aims to ensure consistent international security and customs standards, preventing shipments from being delayed or rejected at borders.
Please be aware that individual countries may implement these rules differently. Sending goods by letter remains your responsibility as a seller, Cardmarket cannot influence whether local postal offices will or will not accept such shipments. But, based on our reports and experience, letters are still being accepted widely accepted.
Because the actual implementation of these regulations is still unclear, and the situation keeps evolving, Cardmarket might temporarily restrict certain shipping methods. We cannot influence how regional postal companies apply, or choose not to apply these rules. For this reason, certain international shipping options have been removed while others remain. We will reintroduce fully compliant and reliable alternatives as soon as they become available. As postal responses to these changes are difficult to predict, we kindly ask for your patience.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and adapt where possible.
