Hej, I recently moved to Skövde from Canada and cannot speak Swedish (but I am trying to learn!). I'm looking for people to play any kind of magic with in the area. I've been playing magic for about 7 years and where I am from there is a very large competitive community mostly into modern, but I also really enjoy EDH and draft, and will play standard if there's a large enough community. Let me know if there's any cool places to play magic at in the city or nearby!

Welcome!
Skövde Magicförening organizes events in Skövde. We play EDH/cassual on tuesdays, FNM with alternating draft/modern on fridays and standard at saturdays.

I must warn you that the standard people are not that many. 6-10 people now that the semester has started again.
We are rather laidback here in Skövde tho. So might be a little different from what you are used to if you come from a competetive community :)

If you're really itching for a game of EDH or maybe a couple of rounds of Modern, you're welcome to Töreboda as well. ^^ It's just 18 minutes by train from Skövde. We don't have a club or anything, but we meet and play at a cafe sometimes. :) Send me a PM at Facebook! (Karl A. van Hallstan)
