"Lesson: Being a nice guy does not translate to being a great seller.
I bought expensive Cards that were in less then promised condition. I wrote him, and he replied that he does his best in grading, but that he basically does not care if the rating was acurate(?). And furthermore that he has no intention of offering any kind of compensation :..."It's not like I have a customer satisfaction guarantee or anything, I don't get paid for that.. "
I find that pretty far from okay, as we are dependent on eachother too keep up our end of the deal. In this case, if i was sold Cards of lesser quality then promised, i should recieve compensatetion or a good (satisfactiory) explanation as to why the Cards were not as promised.
And yes: I DID pay for that!!
If one part of the deal does not deliever it is not okay and should never just be ignored. It should potentially cause the person to be banned from the site for a certain period.
I always offer over-the-top compensation if i mess up. Which is the only decent thing to do. How anyone can just say "i messed up, nut hey i dont care?" is beyond me.
As this ratingsystem is "what we got" to sort out the good, bad and ugly in private Trading on svm, i feel anyone should be warned that this seller will not right his mistakes (honest or not), and his grading seems very arbitrary. Therefore, you can end up with Cards of significantly lower value then promised. As a result of this and to prevent similar expirience (and to send a signal), im blocking this guy."
