If Celestial Colonnade can't attack unless you pay a cost that includes a mana payment, you may attack with it and tap it to pay for that cost. It will still attack in this case.

A land that becomes a creature may be affected by "summoning sickness." You can't attack with it or use any of its {T} abilities (including its mana abilities) unless it began your most recent turn on the battlefield under your control. Note that summoning sickness cares about when that permanent came under your control, not when it became a creature.

When a land becomes a creature, that doesn't count as having a creature enter the battlefield. The permanent was already on the battlefield; it only changed its types. Abilities that trigger whenever a creature enters the battlefield won't trigger.

Om man kollar hur Crew är wordat "Tap any number of creatures you control with total power X or more: This Vehicle becomes an artifact creature until end of turn."

Visst borde det egentligen stå:

Tap: Add W or U to your mana pool.
3WU: Until end of turn, Celestial Colonnade becomes a 4/4 white and blue Elemental land creature with flying and vigilance."

Har ingen aning om hur detta placerar sig på viktighetsskalan, men nåt jag tänkte på.

Mmm, wordingarna är osammanhängande, men jag tror inte att de bör vara det.

Jag föreslår följande wording för alla permanents som adderar sig en type (i det här exemplet, till creatures):

Crew 3 (Tap any number of creatures you control with total power 3 or more: This Vehicle also becomes an artifact creature until end of turn.)

{1}: Mutavault also becomes a 2/2 creature with all creature types until end of turn.

{G}{G}: Still Life also becomes a 4/3 Centaur creature until end of turn.

"Also" känns lite oklart. "Och vadå?" Tror det första förslaget är bättre isåfall, men jag misstänker att de väljer att skriva ut "it's still a land" för ännu mer tydlighet. Söker man så dyker den textraden med endast några få undantag bara upp på kort som gör just länder till creatures. Kan vara för att förtydliga att man fortfarande kan tappa dom för mana, kanske?

Tror det ligger till som FatMaximus skriver, samt även ett förtydligande att man inte kan stoppa en Ghost Quarter enbart med att aktivera landet (såvida det inte har hexproof då).

Du har det baklänges, det är Crew som är wordat "fel". (Jämför t.ex. med Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.) Crew "borde" egentligen vara wordat "...becomes a creature until end of turn. It's still an artifact.", men det finns ett speciellt undantag i reglerna som säger att "becomes an artifact creature" betyder samma sak:

205.1b205.1b. Some effects change an object's card type, supertype, or subtype but specify that the object retains a prior card type, supertype, or subtype. In such cases, all the object's prior card types, supertypes, and subtypes are retained. This rule applies to effects that use the phrase "in addition to its types" or that state that something is "still a [type, supertype, or subtype]." Some effects state that an object becomes an "artifact creature"; these effects also allow the object to retain all of its prior card types and subtypes. Example: An ability reads, "All lands are 1/1 creatures that are still lands." The affected lands now have two card types: creature and land. If there were any lands that were also artifacts before the ability's effect applied to them, those lands would become "artifact land creatures," not just "creatures," or "land creatures." The effect allows them to retain both the card type "artifact" and the card type "land." In addition, each land affected by the ability retains any land types and supertypes it had before the ability took effect. Example: An ability reads, "All artifacts are 1/1 artifact creatures." If a permanent is both an artifact and an enchantment, it will become an "artifact enchantment creature."

Jag hittade artikeln som förklarar varför.

"“becomes an artifact creature”
This one’s a little special. Technically, it should be worded just like the lands, which would be “becomes a creature. It’s still an artifact.” But “artifact creature” is a very common type – we even make cards that are artifact creatures all on their own! We eventually decided not to change this template, because players are used to “becomes an artifact creature,” and like it much better."
